| Here I am, the busiest semester of my life and what do I spend most of my time doing? Reading? going to class? reviewing notes?
No no and..never.
I've been watching all two and a half seasons of the office with Steve Carrell.
I'm impressed every thursday night. So impressed that I will watch it a couple times the following week. www.tvlinkvault.com
Just incase you haven't discovered free T.V on the net. peek it.

| Language is funny. Not 'haha' funny. Just peculiar. A local T.O News paper has been running a special weekly edition called 'the war on poverty' showcasing different charities and such that you can get involved in.
I just find 'the war on' very peculiar. And not just in this regard, but with other things too, like, the 'war on cancer' etc. It just makes it seem like things like poverty is an epidemic that comes out of nowhere; something that attacks. When really, poverty is created and perpetuated (simply speaking) by the rich getting richer. Perhaps the special editions should be titled "correcting economic injustice' or at the very least, if you prefer a less 'York U-esque' title- 'managing the down and out'.
I suppose it doesn't REALLY matter. I just feel that if we changed the way we talked about poverty; as something that is CREATED rather than something that just comes out of the blue and attacks, then maybe...I don't know. I have no way of hypothesizing how people would react. but maybe I would start feeling more convicted and start taking some ownership for these inequalities.
| I did it. I left the ghetto that is Jane and Finch and moved to the new uber -pop part of T.O (well, not that popular YET. But I believe its catching on)
I'm lovin' Toronto's west end. I can leave my house after 4 PM without being heckled, Everything is close by (including a bakery cafe with THE BEST Earl Greyt tea I've ever tasted) and I feel so much less isolated. Life is good and the livin' is easy (I just wish that was entirely true)
| I believe I took this innocent church song a wee bit too seriously. Ladies and gentlemen - I joined the Mac world. I bought an ibook. And for all the wrong reasons as followed-: 1) Great Advertising 2) All my friends have one and make me and my PC feel little. 3) It fits in my purse bag, is white with a streamline design 4) Boys might now think I'm artsy (perhaps if I use it whilst wearing a scarf I'll up my points) 5) It was cheap and my Roomate's BF gets me 25% off Apple goods. So there. Judge me. Go ahead judge away. | | |
| I don't know what happend. But everything is going really well. Opportunities are popping up, plans are working out. The fruits of my labour, christianly speaking, are plentiful...ten fold even. This is encouraging | | |
